Written by Tom Sykes "with Dave in mind" for a Southport Jazz Festival gig a few years ago. It was recorded at a live performance at Liverpool Community College on 24 January 2008. Dave on kit, Tom on violin, Les Bolger on guitar, John McCormick on bass.

Dave, Keith Small and David Fishel were booked to play in a tiny country church for a funeral where the deceased had specifically requested (prior to his death of course) that a jazz trio play Duke Ellington's, "Don't Get Around Much Anymore".  The song became the signature tune at Liverpool Jazz Club sessions.  This version was recorded at an unrehearsed session with sound engineering students at Liverpool Community College.  Dave on drums, Johnny Mac on bass and David Fishel on (digital) piano.  The concert hall applause was added later for a bit of a laugh!
